ATCAS - Bloom

I am the host for time at ATCAS and I chose the new code word BLOOM. Here is my card for inspiration. Used Clearly besotted stamp set and did copic coloring.

I was inspired by the Paper smooches january challenge - 4 colours inspiration pic. I used distress inks chipped sapphire, mowed lawn, spun sugar, scattered straw and the neutral colours are white and black. I applied distress ink on watercolor paper and used Paper smooches Foliage 1. White embossed the sentiment on black cardstock.

With Valentine's day around the corner we have a perfect new code word RED at Addicted to CAS blog.
Here is my card I used red cardstock for the front of the card and did some inlaid die cutting. I used Wplus9 stitched hearts and the W&W sentiment. I white embossed the sentiment to match the heart border and the edges of the card.

ICR blog hop - Indian flag colours + texture

Hello and Welcome!

Here is my card. I used texture paste and mixed with spiced marmalade and mowed lawn distress inks along with Simon says stamp diagonal stripes stencil for the background. I also inked the sentiment with chipped sapphire distress ink and layered the die cut thrice to add a little dimension. Added a few sequins on my card.

ATCAS - cake

The first code word for 2016 on Addicted to CAS is "CAKE" I decided to with cupcakes and here is my card very simple and clean. I used my new copic markers which I bought on black friday sale.

For this card I have combined two challenges MFT sketch challenge and ColourQ.
I loved the current MFT sketch I used the background heart stencil. I used used 3 different inks Hero arts bubble ink, Simon says stamp audrey blue and spun sugar distress ink. Die cut the love you sentiment and also inked the edges and the sentiment with vintage photo ink to give the kraft coloured look

It's a new challenge at ICR.  Paru is hosting this month's challenge and she came up with something new. Yes, it's make a CAS project using something new. For my card I used my new purchase from Altenew. Used new stamp set and inks and kept the card clean and simple.

Merry Christmas

I have a Christmas shaker card to share today.  Used a pattern paper to create the frame of shaker. Stamped the sentiment inside the shaker and used Pretty pink posh christmas classic sequins for the shaker.

Celebrations at A blog named hero

Hello Crafty friends!! Bhavana here today at A Blog Named Hero. For this month we will be  celebrating with some talented crafty celebrities. Today I am paired with very talented Libby Hickson. I adore her work and I know you all love her work too. Check out A blog named hero for more details

And here is my card, I used Hero Arts Leaves and Petals stamp set. I hand cut the leaves after stamping and for the berries I used red sequins. Stamped the sentiment in black ink on a piece of tag which I stuck with foam tape. For the background I used texture paste and Hero Arts tweed pattern stencil.

Colour Me #100

At Colour Me this is the 100th colour challenge.  The colours are soft sky + neutral.
Here is my card for inspiration. I used a snowflake pattern paper for the background. And die cut the Lawn Fawn stitched snowflakes in white cardstock. Added some pearls on the snowflakes. Stamped the sentiment in black ink.

There is a sad news that Colour Me is closing down and this is the last challenge. It was so wonderful working with the Colour Me design Team. I really enjoyed and had fun making cards for Colour Me. Thank you Tara and Hayley!!

I have new christmas card to share which I made using Hero Arts and PTI stamps. I first stamped the Merry word in black ink for the background. Gold embossed the poinsettia and did water colouring using gansai tambi. Used foam tape for layering the poinsettia. Added Pretty pink posh classi christmas sequins.

Colour Me #99

New colour swatch at Colour me. Its rich razzleberry, perfect plum, rose red, melon mambo. 
I did some ink smooshing technique to create a background. I used picked raspberry, spun sugar and aged mahogany distress inks. I used only 3 inks coz after the colours get mixed and form a new colour which are very close to the colour me #99.
